Sr. Project Manager

Your role:

 

As a Senior Project Manager within the Strategy and Transformation team, you are a critical business partner for the API, Excipient and Media cluster. You contribute to the execution of the LS strategy and by driving definition, planning and execution of strategic projects, thus prepare the sites within the cluster to meet future business requirements.  You will be accountable for the execution of strategic projects on time, on cost and within scope. The projects are usually of a complex nature (multi-year, >>20M€ value) and will involve a larger number of international stakeholders within different functions and levels. You will manage all workstream leads, as well as internal and external resources required to accomplish the project activities. At the same time, you ensure a proper reporting to the upper management and other stakeholders.  The cluster you are supporting comprises 6 manufacturing sites in the US, which will require the readiness to travel. The position is located at the Madison site in Wisconsin.

 

 

Who you are:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical and Mechanical preferred.
  • PMP certified or similar PM certification
  • Extensive experience (6-8 years) including managing projects of significant size (>20M€) and high complexity
  • Ability to effectively identify, manage and develop efficient project teams
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English mandatory)
  • You have the ability to set realistic, challenging objectives for the project team and are result driven
  • Demonstrated experience in construction and/or (bio-) chemical process technology including technology transfers
  • You can analyze complex situations in order to develop solutions
