Your Role:
 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for facilities and equipment maintenance.  This includes repair and maintenance of HVAC, building services, exhaust systems, and a wide variety of laboratory equipment. You will follow all safety and quality requirements, complete assigned work installing and maintaining equipment, facilities, and utility systems. This role involves weekend & holiday on-call and after-hours duty as needed. 

Physical Attributes:

• Regularly sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. 
• Wear eye protection, safety shoes, respirators, and other PPE.

Who you are:
 

Minimum Qualifications:
 

• High School Diploma or GED.
   

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Completion of trade school in a maintenance field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and 6S skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including with Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with soliciting bids and supervising/directing contractors and other technicians in completing work.
• Ability to accept direction and meet deadlines.
