Stable Isotopes Sales Specialist, Central Region
Your Role:
The Stable Isotope Sales Specialist (ISOTEC®) will be responsible for interpreting and communicating technical information to Production teams, Scientists, and Customers. The Specialist will work closely with the Account Manager and Market Segment Manager on new product lines, and market trends. The specialist will be required to work efficiently and handle many responsibilities while understanding technical details.
The Stable Isotope Sales Specialist will be directly responsible for sales revenue generated in their Region of the United States. This will involve communicating market demand within the product portfolio and quoting of stable isotope products based on market information and quoting tools. This person will build new sales opportunities in target regions and accounts through phone calls, networking, customer visits, and attending targeted scientific conferences and trade shows. Required travel approximately 2 weeks per month within region. Will be trained on quoting and other functions in SAP.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related scientific field with 3+ years of Industrial or Academic laboratory experience, Technical or Customer Service Experience in a Scientific field OR a Master of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD preferred in related field.
- Previous Sales experience a plus.
- NMR or Mass Spectrometry applications related to stable isotopes preferred.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must Utilize Scientific knowledge and good communication skills to provide customers with information via phone, customer visits, or email.
- Work well in a team atmosphere.
