Stability Coordinator

Your role:

 

The Stability Coordinator at MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI is a new role, which has opened due to our continued investment and emphasis on exceptional quality assurance. This position fulfills crucial responsibilities within our Stability group.
 

Manage shelf life samples in accordance with guidelines of the quality management system 
 

  • Shelf life study initiation, coordination, tracking, and sample management.  Including samples storage in stability chambers, dispatching samples to QC Lab, and maintaining stability chambers
  • Planning and scheduling of samples, which includes loading samples into chambers.
  • Assist Shelf Life Specialist with Product Families and Bracketing strategies.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in the generation of product shelf life strategies and authoring shelf life protocols
  • Provide expertise to ensure all issues related to product stability, shelf life establishment, and sample investigation are adequately addressed, tracked, and resolved
  • Shelf Life Specialist with future implementation of global program improvements once program development and site implementation are complete

 

Support general laboratory functions and routine maintenance   
 

  • Perform chamber maintenance, and practice proper waste disposal in accordance with existing guidelines 
  • Run performance verifications and calibrations in accordance with standard operating procedures 
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment 
  • Train and collaborate cross functionally with other team members

 

Identify opportunities for quality improvement in compliance with the Quality Management System  
 

  • Write and submit quality deviation records for management review  
  • Complete routine procedure and policy trainings through our Learning Management System   
  • Contribute to the document management program; create and update department SOPs
  • Participate in quality-related discussions during team meetings, equivalent to level of expertise 
  • Participate in safety trainings 
  • Support and participate in quality audits as necessary. 
  • Coordinate basic process, quality, and safety improvement projects with management support 

 

Who you are:
 

Minimum Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related Life Science

 

OR

 

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a lab setting


Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • 2+ years of experience in stability studies
  • Capacity to excel in a team setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), as well as database software such as Access
  • Basic understanding of analytical tools and equipment
  • Outstanding customer service and communications skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to adapt, self-motivate, and think critically 
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
