Your Role: 

The CDL Truck Driver 1 - Local will conduct transportation operations and assist in warehousing while providing safe, timely transportation of chemicals, components, and equipment on public roadways between MilliporeSigma facilities. Job duties include:

·         Day Shift:  Monday-Friday 10:00AM to 6:00PM

·         Ensures MilliporeSigma compliance with DOT regulations

·         Assist external customer support

·         Perform multiple warehouse functions at various sites as needed

Who You Are: 

Minimum Qualifications: 

·         High School Diploma or GED  

·         Class A Commercial Driver’s License

·         Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements

·         Current DOT Medical Card

Preferred Qualifications: 

·         Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and SAP

·         Experience with proper lifting techniques, utilizing warehouse location logic, and performing inventory tracking using SAP.

·         Utilize computer systems for data entry/updates and maintain written truck logs

·         1+ years of experience driving trucks with 80,000 Gross Vehicle Weight

·         Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) and other common warehouse machinery
