Automation Engineer

Your Role: As Automation Engineer your main task is to support Production Manufacturing by providing technical support and troubleshooting for automation issues within a GMP production environment. Reporting to the Automation manager you are in charge of the Automation maintenance, following global automation standards and guidelines, defining local SOP’s and assuring the Digital transformation (E- Plant) implementation of the corporation.You are also responsible for the management and support of automation engineering projects related to corrective actions, equipment performance, improvement, and deployment of automation equipment in the automation infrastructure. In the short term your main task is to lead the definition and implementation of the automation infrastructure, collaborating with the main local/global stakeholders. You must collaborate with the different departments of the company (Projects, EHS, Quality, Production…) and colleagues from Global Automation.
Who you are:
- You have a Graduate Degree in Engineering (preferred Automation, Electronics or similar). You have experience around 3-5 years in automation pharmaceutical industry process or similar, as a project manager commissioning and troubleshooting of control systems and assets, participating in projects for the integration of automation equipment in the IT networks/systems.
- You have experience in a GxP regulated environment, defining functional specifications, SOP’s, and maintaining it updated.You have knowledge in life cycle management of applications, incident management and change management protocols.
- You have experience working with Siemens PLC´s, Wonderware SCADA’s, Siemens HMI systems. Furthermore, Virtual Infrastructures, Industrial communications, Databases.
- You have knowledge in networks LAN/WLAN, Routing, Switching, Structured cabling.It would be considered working/knowledge with MES, DATA Historian, digital transformation, Industry 4.0, Cybersecurity.
- You are fluent in English. Strong organizational and teamwork skills to work with local and global colleagues
