Accounting Business Partner f/m

Your role:
As an Accounting Business Partner (ABP) in a global Shared Service Center, you will serve as single point of contact for the CFO and our other stakeholders (Business Partners) for one or more subsidiaries in the Group. You will be responsible for the financial statements of these legal entities and ensure financial compliance with local legislation and Group guidelines. Your main tasks will be carried out in close cooperation with the central accounting departments and the various Group functions (Tax, Treasury etc.). You are responsible for the coordination of the financial audit and the main contact partner for our external auditors.
Besides other tasks you will keep your Business Partners informed about the financial development of the entities and take responsibility for certain activities as agreed with the CFO and fellow ABP colleagues. In addition, you are responsible for the coordination of tax audits and support other projects in various roles as assigned.
Who you are:
• Degree in a business related discipline required
• 4-5 years experience min as an auditor in one of the Big 4 (KPMG, Deloitte, PwC or EY)
• Strong knowledge in ISAs and understanding of audit methodology / Ability to challenge auditors’ request and requirements
• Proven track record of independent management of audit engagements either from auditors’ or Financial Manager’s perspective
• Solid experience in IFRS and French GAAP, accounting and financial processes
• Accomplished in financial analytics, communication and presentation
• Has proven to be a team player
• Very good understanding of our stakeholders’ interests in financial information managed by the ABP
• Ability to work in a highly complex environment, connect the dots and facilitate discussions of multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome / Strong negotiations and influence skills / Readiness to support the colleagues and be a facilitator
• Strong ability to work effectively in tight deadlines and under pressure / Ability to make calculated risk driven decisions under time constraints
• Flexibility and willingness for business trips
• Fluent English as well as French language skills required
