Digital Marketing Specialist (H/F)

Your role:


The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with internal marketing teams and stakeholders to develop, execute, maintain, and analyze the effectiveness of life science product data on the Merck websites. The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and maintain internal process documentation and ensure adherence to guidelines and best practices. This individual will also support Digital Marketing’s group efforts as assigned to meet departmental and/or company objectives. He will develop and evaluate effectiveness of product data and supporting content along with other digital marketing initiatives, categorize chemical, biological and labware products by product type and application, develop and maintain procedures, best practices and guidelines, as well as metrics and reports...


Who you are:


  • BS/BA or higher in Marketing, Business, Mathematics, Data Science, Chemistry, Life Science or related field, with 3+ years industrial or academic experience preferred
  • Proficient in standard computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with fundamental knowledge of HTML and web analytics programs (preferably Google Analytics) desirable
  • Strong analytical abilities. Experience with data mining, data curation, ETL tools, KNIME, Pentaho, SQL desirable
  • English is a must
  • Available to travel internationally up to 10% of working time
