Your Role: 

At MilliporeSigma, the Packer/Shipper will perform a wide variety of tasks involved in the Picking, packing and storage of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the Distribution Center. Additional duties of this role include:

  • Transferring materials from the Distribution Center to the Manufacturing Plant. 
  • Performing Inventory counts, product consolidation, stocking, and general warehouse organization.
  • Shipping of materials or finished goods within compliance of DOT, IATA, and DC SOP’s.
  • Legible and accurate documentation
  • Managing the storage of finished goods and raw materials in an orderly manner
  • This position will require that the successful hire join the union.

 

Physical Attributes: 

  • Lift, push, and or pull up to 70lbs

  
Who You Are: 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of warehouse experience
  • Experience operating electronic systems and general computer skills.    
  • General knowledge of organization and storage of materials
  • Forklift certification
