Director, Market Access & Customer Solutions Business Operations

Your role:  Reporting to the Head of Market Access & Customer Solutions Insights, Pricing, Analytics, and Operations. The Director, Market Access & Customer Solutions Business Operations, will be responsible for partnering with the Head of MA&CS IPA (Insights, Pricing, and Analytics) and Operations as well as the MA&CS leadership team to develop and implement a strategic approach to business planning exercises (all current & pipeline brands) as well as leading the development and coordination of MA&CS operational processes. The Director will coordinate the overall MA&CS strategic, tactical, and operational business plans across the multiple departmental functions and Therapeutic Areas supported within MA&CS, ensuring company compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and government regulations (CMS).

 The Director will be the in-house interface on behalf of Market Access & Customer Solutions with Commercial support functions  (Business Excellence, Sales Training, Compliance, Therapeutic Area Sales and Marketing,  Finance, Corporate Communications, Government Affairs, Legal, HR, and Global Functions), and between internal Market Access & Customer Solutions departments (IPA, Marketing, Access Influencer Management (AIM), Channel, and Contract Operations) leading key projects and coordinating day-to-day activities including Plan of Action (POA) planning, sales incentive planning, cross departmental performance optimization and measurement, process enhancements, and CRM strategy.  The Director will ensure Market Access & Customer Solutions staff, both home office and field, are trained on all facets of Compliance. The Director will support the Market Access & Customer Solutions department in developing and implementing planning timelines for contracting strategy development and execution, brand planning

 

Who you are: Required qualifications; Bachelor’s degree,  10 plus years of related Bio-Pharmaceutical/Health Care Industry experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Analytics, and/or Market Access experience including: Experience successfully leading a team of in/direct reports in a highly matrixed structure. Project Management experience. Lean Six Sigma and process improvement experience (strongly preferred). Demonstrated ability to lead with humility, courage, urgency, and integrity. Advanced business acumen and analytical thinking skills; expert proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Superior team orientation and ability to influence without authority.  Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to effectively problem solve and collaborate cross-functionally in a complex business environment.
