Your role: 

With responsibility for the development of the market access strategy and operational plan for a range of diseases of core Oncology Franchise focus, registrational intent and earlier stage development assets, the Pipeline/Launch Lead is a critical and dynamic position on the Oncology GMAP team. In this role, you will create and maintain the brand value proposition(s), pricing strategy and related resources. You will be the first and main point of contact for the global business franchise, MAP colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders on disease and asset-specific market access and pricing topics. You’ll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (evidence and value demonstration, government affairs and patient advocacy, global business franchise, global medical affairs) to create one access strategy, to which all related activities align. You will be responsible for development and rollout of a key registrational asset across our organization and in collaboration with any relevant Alliance. You’ll lead MAP disease and asset related internal planning processes, integrate payer perspective into Commercial strategy, longer term core disease area Development and Commercial Strategy, and owns the execution of some asset MAP activities. You will build and maintain asset and brand value proposition. You will define/refine the Global Pricing Policy – Guidance and Governance. You will development and delivery of core Global MAP deliverables to key country/regional organizations. And you will Contribution to Global MAP leadership to ensure effective integration with key business partners.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in science, pharmacy, medicine, economics, business, public health or health economics
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in either pharmaceutical market access or pricing, and/or related experience in Commercial/ HEOR capacity on local, regional, or global Level
  • Collaborative people manager who influences without authority, champions position, builds consensus, drives decisions and execute strategies & tactics in cross-functional teams
  • Analytical thinker who identifies opportunities and challenges from a broad perspective and translate this in operational strategies to secure access and optimize revenue
  • Market Access expert with a strong understanding of major market reimbursement and pricing systems as well as current health policy topics in combination with strong negotiation skills and a working knowledge of health economics
  • Stakeholder oriented leader with a deep understanding of Market access stakeholders (Payers, Key Opinion Leader, Politicians, Patients) across different regions
  • Strong process/project manager with the ability to communicate and influence effectively with peers and leadership; having a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of organization
  • Curious mind with a winning mindset and a strong business acumen
