Head (Director) of US Oncology Digital Marketing

Your role:

In this role, you will focus on delivering innovative digital marketing programs in line with strategic objectives for the US oncology franchise and specific brands. Planning and executing website, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. You will handle strategic online initiatives. And lead digital marketing campaigns from the idea stage through to their execution and implementation. You'll collaborate with internal teams, alliance partners, and agency partners to create landing pages and optimize user experience. You will monitor and evaluating online media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective. You will measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs). You'll have the opportunity to bring innovative digital programming to the oncology franchise through thought leadership, analysis of new market trends, and alignment with brand strategies. You will identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights staying current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing world.

  • Analyze market data sources to continuously improve our ability to get targeted messages to specific, relevant customers
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user experience
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

 

Who you are:

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 – 12 years in a combination of Operations, Analytics & Insights, Marketing, Reimbursement, Market Access, Field Sales or business Technology in the biopharma industry
  • 5 or more years of specific digital marketing experience
  • Experience with search engine optimization, website development, and email marketing
  • Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool
  • Understand website metrics and best practices
  • Strategic ability to define a clear path in a complex environment, utilizing strong analytical skills to navigate through complex challenges, overcoming areas of ambiguity and deliver well thought out business solutions to seize opportunities for business growth Exceptional business acumen, deep customer insights and grasp of complex analytics required
  • Ability to demonstrative creative and innovative solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM technology relevant to Field Teams and the ability to leverage big data
  • Strong business acumen with keen analytical sense and ability to utilize quantitative analysis and sound business judgment in interpretation of sales and market data to drive strategy
  • Deep expertise in data and system architecture
  • Proven strategic and operational skills leading multiple impactful cross functional projects simultaneously
  • Recent go-to-market experience in launching new products
  • Experience auditing operational program performance to identify potential gaps and opportunities for program improvement
  • Understanding of the US biotech specialty space with demonstrated ability to learn and master diverse therapeutic areas and complex business environments
  • Strong understanding of current legal and regulatory environment
  • Project and vendor management experience 
  • Demonstrates strong presentation and moderator / facilitator skills with an ability to translate medical information into succinct and impactful commercial messages; ability to present to all levels of the organization to individuals and groups as well as respond succinctly and clearly to any questions and challenges while presenting
  • Requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and business writing skills

Preferred:

 

  • Must have expertise in the Oncology, experience in multiple specialty disease areas is a plus
  • Home office/headquarters experience preferred
