Product Manager Patient Marketing - Neurology

Your Role

The Product Manager supports the marketing of EMD Serono's Multiple Sclerosis (MS) franchise with a primary emphasis on MAVENCLAD Patient Marketing.  This role makes significant contributions and is responsible for developing and implementing consumer marketing initiatives. Primary responsibilities will include identifying, training and executing a patient ambassadors’ program, MS Lifelines (MSLL) Above Brand Marketing activities, consumer social media strategy and content for brand and MSLL, and all the MSLL brand patient support materials. Participate in the development of the MS marketing strategies to support patient awareness and activation for MAVENCLAD.  Work with Director of Marketing to ensure these strategies fit within the overall US franchise strategy. Proactively develop and execute marketing projects with agencies from concept through implementation that drive success against the MAVENCLAD patient strategies. Lead Mavenclad patient support materials for patient and HCP education. Develop MAVENCLAD patient ambassador program from recruitment, training and strategy for execution.  Develop patient videos post training and onboarding. Lead social media strategy and content execution for both MAVENCLAD and MS LifeLines. Lead Above Brand Marketing tactics including but not limited to messaging, MSLL.com, patient newsletters, unbranded leave behinds and resources. Support the MSLL call center to ensure execution of materials necessary for business i.e. training guides, FAQs, service request forms. Conduct field visits and attend patient programs, as necessary, to evaluate effectiveness of marketing programs, tools and services. Manage budgets and judiciously prioritize tactics based on potential value to the brand. 

 

Who You Are:

Required:

  • BA/BS required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Previous pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience required
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors
  • Strong project management experience
  • Collaborative work style and familiarity with core operating function (sales, marketing, regulatory, legal, medical, global marketing and co-promotion partners)
  • Ability to work in a high functioning, fast-paced, global business environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken) and an ability to translate clinical information into succinct and high impact marketing messages
  • Ability to analyze competitive landscape and key brand issues
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task and have superior organizational skills
  • Meets challenges consistently and confidently with energy and drive
  • Motivated by results, urgency and personal commitment
  • Possesses high integrity and exceptional work ethic
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of time
