Your Role

 

The Sr. Product Manager, U.S. BAVENCIO Marketing, is a crucial role within the commercial team and will be responsible for developing and executing key HCP and patient strategies, programs, and tactics to support the commercial success of BAVENCIO. This requires possessing the ability to rapidly develop deep therapeutic area insights and an understanding of the urothelial carcinoma (UC) market as well as key attributes of BAVENCIO to help position the product appropriately.

 

This role will involve cross-functional collaboration, project management skills and require the selected individual to become a champion for the brand both internally and externally.  This position reports to the Director, Brand Lead of BAVENCIO Marketing and will work in close partnership with the broader U.S. Oncology Marketing Team.

 

Location: Onsite, requiring 3 days in the office.  The office is currently located in Rockland, MA but is moving to the Boston, MA Seaport in mid-2024.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to annual HCP and patient/caregiver strategy and develop tactical plans for key market-shaping and branded activities, determine budgets, timelines and metrics for program success to ensure brand launch success in collaboration with cross-functional and vendor partners.
  • Evolve existing patient campaign, positioning and messaging to ensure maximization of audience reach and influence.
  • Own the tactical development, roll out, and measurement of unbranded and branded promotional materials across HCP, patient and caregiver audiences.
  • Lead strategic development and execution of a patient ambassador and mentorship program, including cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, execution, KPI tracking and vendor management.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with patient advocacy groups, brand ambassadors, and external strategic partners in collaboration with patient advocacy and patient support services. Support the development and execution of a patient support program in collaboration with patient services.
  • Partner with media agency of record and other vendor partners to set the strategy, execution and measurement for digital promotion and media, including SEM/SEO optimization and analytics reporting, using a data/insight driven approach.
  • Serve as brand team point of contact for all new and ongoing patient website updates, including cross-functional collaboration with internal IT and developer teams and agency partners.
  • Work with Portfolio Marketing to manage HCP, patient and caregiver resource printing and fulfillment in the portal (details, inventory, downloads).
  • Work with internal and external partners to define success metrics and analyze performance of marketing programs on an ongoing basis, ensuring plans are optimized as needed to improve impact, and develop recommendations for future plans.
  • Collaborate with broader oncology marketing team to ensure strategic alignment and execution across the EMD Serono oncology portfolio.
  • Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing tactics.
  • Manage agency partner relationships, workflows, and related expense budgets.
  • Manage budget on an ongoing basis and ensure spend and gating are reconciled on time & accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 5+ years (or 3+ years with advanced degree) proven experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry brand marketing.
  • Prior in-line or equivalent U.S. patient marketing experience, with 2+ years in a product manager role.
  • Demonstrated ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything you do, alongside a team that is driven by improving the lives of patients.
  • Proficient in digital marketing, website development and media tactic and SEM directed toward patient and caregiver audiences.
  • Successful track record in understanding the U.S. regulatory environment, OPDP promotional guidance and navigating the MLR review process.
  • Proven project and vendor management skills including budget management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, and logistics execution.
  • Adept in expense budget planning, tracking, and ROI measurement
  • Excellent communications skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing, track record of effective and influential presentations to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented, exhibits leadership skills, and ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of US Oncology market, including patient/caregiver trends, patient advocacy dynamics, and patient support programs.
  • Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal, Patient Marketing)
  • Patient advocacy and outreach experience.
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault and PromoMats preferred.
