Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, as the Central Stores Lab Technician you will support the material/lab inventory and ordering process.  This includes receiving orders from various labs and retrieving materials and ensuring proper delivery and documentation.

 

  • Documents tasks in compliance with SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP)
  • Receives and manages company purchased raw materials and consumables
  • Performs scheduled and ad hoc deliveries of lab supplies using ERP system such as ORACLE
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels through cycle counting, record keeping and end of month reports
  • Complies with all GxP, safety, and company requirements
  • Maintains and monitors walk-in refrigerator and other temperature controlled equipment
  • Cross-trains as needed and assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Physical Attributes:

  • Ability to lift or exert force up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures, including cold storage.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED with 1+ years of work experience
  • Associate’s Degree in any discipline

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in material management within a life science company.
  • Experience working in a laboratory and/or GxP environment.
  • Knowledge of basic computer systems and inventory management databases.
  • Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and other basic warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts.

 

 

Pay Range for this position - $32,000 - $74,800

 

Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.  Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.  This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; paid time off; and paid holidays; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
