Your Role:
The Manufacturing Technician 4 is responsible for preparing reference standard solutions, raw/neat material aliquots, calibration curves, and check standards. This supports catalog and customer-specific products, as well as Certification and Stability programs for Round Rock raw materials and finished products.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare reference standard solutions, calibration curves, neat material aliquots, and check standards for various programs and products, ensuring projects meet design specifications and production goals.
- Review batch records and forms for accuracy before project execution; identify errors and initiate necessary specification changes.
- Prepare, revise, and write batch records and forms to support production needs and new product development; function as a reviewer of such documentation.
- Manage projects through the product management system (PMS) and organize supplies to ensure accessibility for upcoming projects.
- Update the Manager/Team Lead on project status, issues, and production targets; maintain operational spreadsheets to monitor and report manufacturing progress.
- Ensure the laboratory is consistently maintained in a clean, organized, and "audit-ready" state.
- Assist in training and mentoring staff; perform regular production and support activities as assigned by the Manager.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or other Life Science discipline with 1+ year(s) of experience as a Life Science lab technician.
OR
- Associate’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or other Life Science discipline with 2+ years of experience as a Life Science lab technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of quality system requirements (GMPs, GLPs, ISO, etc.), departmental goals, and interdepartmental processes.
- Excellent attention to detail; quality oriented.
- Excellent verbal, written, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Experience writing technical documents (batch records, procedures, reports).
