Your Role:

Are you passionate about cutting-edge biotechnology and eager to drive sales in a fast-growing industry? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development Team and help expand the adoption of our patented patient-derived mini-organoid technology.

We are a pioneering biotech company revolutionizing drug development and personalized medicine. Our innovative platform bridges the gap between the lab and clinic, enabling researchers and pharmaceutical companies to develop more predictive disease models and accelerate therapeutic discoveries.

 

Must Be on West Coast

 

In this position you are part of the Business Development department and you report to the Chief Business Development Officer (CBO) of HUB Organoids.

You successfully lead all phases of the BD-deal cycle and play a key role in identifying and engaging potential customers, lead generation, proposal development, negotiations of contracts and execution of value creating transactions across a broad spectrum of deal structures.

Working closely with the R&D and Marketing, you align on sales strategies. Whilst engaging with key stakeholders and leveraging industry trends, you optimize business strategies and objectives around HUB’s ongoing and future partnering activities to ensure continuity of the Company’s business pipeline.

This high-impact role offers significant visibility to HUB’s leadership team making it an exciting opportunity for ambitious professionals looking to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

 

  • Proactively translate HUB strategic priorities to annual sales plan and sales activities ensuring a steady stream of qualified leads and solid, long term sales pipeline,
  • Drive end-to-end sales processes by identifying, nurturing and converting high-potential leads into clients, ensuring sustainable revenue growth,
  • Develop and implement growth strategies, conduct market research and competitor analysis and provide insights and recommendations to the leadership based on data analysis and market trends,
  • Present our technology effectively communicating the benefits of our platform to researchers, scientists and decision makers,
  • Attend industry events where you represent our Company at conferences and network opportunities,
  • Track and report key sales performance metrics, illustrating ROI, forecasting future sales and industry trends

 

Who You Are

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Master of Science (MSc) , preferably PhD or MBA in Life Sciences, Health Sciences or Biomedical Sciences or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 6 or more years work experience in equivalent position in CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and partnerships
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear business value,
  • A result-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and impact
  • A strong network in biotechnology or CRO industry
  • Solid data analytical abilities, forecasting and financial modelling skills using software’s such as SalesForce as well as Excel
  • Able to handle the administrative part of the job, including reporting, CRM, Meeting Minutes, Gap Analysis, and other sales tools
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel and engage with clients internationally, 30% or more as required
