Quality Manager Distribution - Schnelldorf (all genders)

Your role: One of our major global distribution centers in Europe is extending its capacity and a complete new chemical down-filling operation will start to produce by beginning of 2023. Our site in Schnelldorf is a modern Distribution Center with almost 250 employees supplying more than 120 countries with about 200.000 different products. The Schnelldorf DC has started a major transition and more than 100 million Euro are currently being invested to extend the capacity and establish a modern down-filling facility. The employment will grow to 450 employees in 2024. As Quality Manager Distribution (all genders), you will be part of the leadership team of the Schnelldorf site and represent all quality topics. You will be responsible for the compliance of the appropriate guidelines and standards. Furthermore, you will provide quality guidance for an ongoing site extension project at Schnelldorf. You are part of a European team managing quality for our LS distribution network across EMEA. As a reliable partner, you will direct a local quality team and support the local distribution managers in all ISO, GDP and general quality questions. In your role, you will receive support from Quality Distribution, ISO and Subsidiary teams and Distribution Operations to establish, maintain and improve the local Quality Management Systems.
Who you are:
- Diploma / Master degree in Science, ideally chemical degree
- Professional experience (approx. 5 years) in a Quality Management role, ideally combined with know-how in distribution/logistics
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and GxP/ GDP
- Thorough knowledge of Project Management and Process Improvement skills
- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Good Leadership skills
- Fluent in German and English
