Head of APAC Quality Services Customer Relationship Management

Responsible for the analysis, development, and operation of quality and risk management systems. Activities include developing standards for quality, documentation and processes as well as continuous improvement and preventive activities.

 

Your Role:

  • Represents Quality Services specifically and aspects of the Quality & Regulatory in High Level Customer facing APAC engagements across Life Science
  • Represents the division as active member in industry advocacy associations in Customer facing opportunities in APAC
  • Business partner for the Commercial and Business Areas; in partnership with them monitors, reports and improve quality performance from a customer’s perspective.
  • Partner with SMI / Sales leads to align and support Specific Markets and Strategic Customers including attending and presenting at customer’s QBR.
  • Responsible for customer quality and regulatory resolution and follow-up of quality incidents
  • Deliver Quality Services, adopting a consultative approach to understand customer needs, explain  our quality systems capabilities and, develop strategies to that help delivering our commitment
  • Creates business opportunities and ensures revenues by establishing sustainable high level relationships with key customers.
  • Demonstrate expertise in project management, typically in the form of coordinating complex customer inquiries  or investigations across global sites
  • Develops and independently implements standards to ensure APAC customer satisfaction for quality and regulatory matters for the whole Life Science portfolio. (could be complexity)
  • Develops and independently implements policies, procedures and methods to provide quality and regulatory product and service information and continuously improves the same. (Could be complexity)
  • Good understanding  relevant regulatory guidelines (ie. GMP) as it relates to the Pharma, BioPharma, IVD, Medical Devices, Food, Research Markets, etc.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of our products and industry applications
  • Other tasks assigned by your superior.
     

 

Who You Are:

  • Masters’ or Bachelors’ degree (chemist, pharmacist, biologist, engineer) with equivalent experience in a relevant scientific-based  position
  • Requires professional experience, approximately 8+ years industry experience as a guide and experience managing through influence in matrixed organizations
  • Requires considerable depth and breadth of expertise combined with in-depth knowledge of market, competitors and technological processes
  • Good understanding  relevant regulatory guidelines (ie. GMP) as it relates to the Pharma, BioPharma, IVD, Medical Devices, Food, Research Markets, etc.
  • Understanding of basic Quality Concepts.
  • Interpersonal & consensus building skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Questioning and active listening skills. Presentation skills.
  • Travel Expectations: 50%
