Medical Manager

Your Role:

  • In-house Medical plan and In-field Execution:
    • Serve as disease and product expert of the therapeutic area assigned and equip with most updated knowledge to develop medical strategy aligned with the business strategy and to ensure the execution of in-field medical activities including medical education and medical information. Also, interact with R&D team and investigators to and support proper clinical development of pipelines. In addition, Patient Support Program and call center management are also within the coverage if applicable. 
  • People Management:
    • Assists Medical Director by leading the MSL(s) and/or Patient Support Program nurse(s) assigned for planning, strategy, and execution of related plans, review and approve subordinate’s performance and development plans, provide coaching in field, manage related personnel and training budgets, and conduct appraisal accordingly.
  • Key Opinion Leader Engagement:
    • Identify and interact with Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) and other Healthcare Professional (HCPs) from non-promotional perspective for discussion about clinical trials on marketed products and investigator-sponsored trials (IST) for evidence generation to support unanswered medical questions and product life cycle extension.
  • Medical Governance:
    • Review materials distributed and promoted external and ensure the content aligned with product label and scientific accuracy and compliant with corporate standards, government/industry regulations and legal requirements.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor, master, or PhD degree of life science field

  • Experiences in medical affairs for at least 5 years
  • Experienced in people management in medical affairs department as a plus
  • Experienced in pharma industry with experiences in medical planning, strategy and budget management.
  • Planning, Project management and process improvement abilities
  • Understanding and experience in digital and multi-channel initiatives 
  • Understanding and experience in clinical development.
  • Learning agility and desire for scientific knowledge and procedure
  • People coaching and managing skill
  • Scientific presentation skills
  • Interpersonal skills including communication and negotiation
  • Fluent command of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of electronic tools (Excel, word) and good technical understanding for use of databases
