Field Marketing Expert-Make

Your role:

Designs, develops and implements marketing programs and commercial strategies to support the organization's products or services in targeted market sectors. Uses specific marketing strategies and utilities media to launch and position products and services in a sector. Identifies and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with all other stakeholders from commercial (sales and technical teams) and business units. Bring the voice of customers back to the organization and educate the industry through thought leadership.

Work with partners to develop a comprehensive upstream products’ strategy  (business, marketing, pricing etc.) and tactic plan with alignment of global and China strategy.

Increase Company branding and reputation by leading thought leadership activities with aligned comprehensive marketing plan.

Empower organization as technical application and marketing experts by leading trainings and sales tools development.

Provide “Voice of Customer” and “Voice of Market” information by customer interactions

Interface with internal partners and lead product cycle management (e.g. product alpha beta test, product launch, product obsolesce etc).

 

Who you are:

  • Possess upstream product knowledge and understand its application in customer process, utilize technical expertise to translate customer needs and pain points into Merck solutions and sales tactics.
  • Capable to research and analyse market trends to enable fact-based decisions making includes: Industry and Segment Market Analysis; Competition Insight; Customer insight.
  • Capable to make and execute the marketing tactic plans drive by Marketing strategy to win, which covers Market Dynamics, Market Share, competition, differentiation, key initiatives to win (including TL, seminars, targets).
  • Capable to position and present the differentiating value story, influence customer’s buying decision, in order to achieve business win.
  • Self-management means showing self-awareness of your emotions and motivations and acting in a way that makes a positive impact. It also means building positive working relationships by showing understanding of and accurately reflecting the feelings and motivations of others.
  • Familiar with the regulate and quality requirement of biopharmaceuticals  
  • Effective communication,  clear EN/CN verbal and written skills.
  • Market experience > 2 year
