Your Role:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee daily operations in the Production 5 facility, ensuring all safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Key responsibilities include: 

• Organize the daily operation and remove obstacles to achieve results
• Support in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
• Manage and drive the training and educational process and procedures for production team
• Conduct employee reviews for staff performance per company guidelines and support employee development to ensure individual and company objectives are addressed
• Review safety procedures, operational procedures, and work instructions, ensuring they can be executed safely, and they are up to date
• Report safety and quality events, assist in root cause analysis and sustainable resolution
• Lead and participate in the Emergency Response Team activities. Complete the training requirements to be able to support the team in an emergency response event, in an incident command role or other roles required for safe and effective hazard mitigation
• Shift: 3rd shift, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sun - Thu

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other life science discipline or in Chemical Engineering
• 1+ year of experience in a laboratory setting
• 1+ year of experience in analytical methods and/or chemical production

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communication skills - communicate with all levels of organization and across functional groups
• Problem-solving & analytical skills - analyze information and make decisions based on needs, priorities, changing business conditions and budgetary constraints
• Project management skills
