Your Role:

In this role you will conduct Process Engineering activities related to the creation, improvement, control, testing, and inspection of production or operation processes and products.

  • Ensure all operations adhere to quality standards, GMP requirements, and regulatory mandates.
  • Develop process simulations and manage the transition of new chemical processes to full-scale production.
  • Oversee the design, production, and maintenance of plant structures, systems, and components.
  • Lead optimization projects to reduce costs and cycle times while improving product yield and quality.
  • Manage technology transfers and draft formal protocols and comprehensive study reports.
  • Partner with Project Engineering to specify and install new equipment while supporting site-wide digitalization.
  • Collaborate with Production, QC, and QA to monitor and maintain control of existing manufacturing processes.
  • Provide expert problem-solving advice and evaluate new technologies through internal and external stakeholder collaboration.

 

Physical Attributes

  • Wear appropriate protective gear such as hard hats, glasses/goggles, gloves, safety shoes, and other personal protective equipment (PPE).

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of work experience in chemical manufacturing.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and scientific problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and standards.
  • Strong experience in process simulations; ChemCAD and/or Dynochem experience.
  • Experience with process control of chemical processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with Minitab and AutoCAD engineering software.
  • Experience leading technical teams.

Pay Range for this position: $78,000 - $125,200 / year

 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
