Sr. Planning & Scheduling Specialist

Your Role

This senior planning position is responsible for developing, adjusting, and maintaining the Master Plan for the all Material in our expanding Pro 3 area. In addition, this position formulates and runs the Sales and Operation Planning meeting for the Performance Materials business on the Sheboygan Site.

  • Leadership ability in process improvement techniques to reduce costs, improve service levels or increase capacity a plus.
  • Maintain and monitor the Planning and Scheduling of your area in SAP and related planning system to ensure schedules are optimized to achieve corporate business objectives.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing and other production/ purchasing planners to ensure your responsible materials and Customer Forecasts and Demand Information are correct in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and SAP MRP.
  • Support all related functions including collaborative divisional S&OP for Site (QC, Packaging, and Operations with throughput, efficiency and quality issues).

 

Physical Attributes

  • Regularly uses phones, computers, computer monitors and all office/laboratory equipment.
  • Typing at a computer keyboard along with the ability to read CRTs/computer monitors.
     

Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field required.
  • 3+ years planning/supply chain management or scheduling functions using an MRP and/or ERP systems.
