Your Role

 

The Sr. Quality Assurance Associate will support the development, maintenance and improvement of quality systems including document control and ensure alignment with business goals, premier customer expectations/requirements and global business unit best practices in alignment with ISO 9001:2015. Additional responsibilities inlcude the following:

 

  • Maintain documentation for Kosher and Halal certified products
  • Liaise with Rabbi and Islamic Council of America for Kosher and Halal approvals
  • Evaluate supplier RMQs (raw material questionnaires) on products
  • Liaise with planning and sourcing department to ensure supplier compliance
  • Complete quality questionnaires as requested by customers
  • Assist in external audits such as; AIB (American Institute of Baking), ISO-9000 GMA-SAFE, FDA, Department of Agriculture, Halal, and Kosher
  • Write and review documentation to ensure compliance to company or customer quality
  • requirements
  • Train to food safety program including Halal, and Kosher requirements
  • Complete 21 CFR 117 food GMP audits of the facility weekly/monthly

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Quality experience in the life science or electronics industry

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics field, including coursework in chemistry, biochemistry, or other life science discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO quality standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of implementing effective and sustainable solutions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset, committed to driving continuous improvement within the Quality Management System
