Your Role:

 

The Warehouse Operator 2 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls, WI will route and deliver material to storage or production areas and will use material handling equipment, including narrow aisle, wire guided powered industrial trucks, confirm customer orders before they are packed to ensure the correct chemicals are shipped, and pack to ensure conformity to all applicable shipping regulations. Daily responsibilities include:

 

  • Unload trailer using power equipment, verify freight and sign bill of lading
  • Sort, inspect, receive and put away product with scanners and appropriate systems, i.e., SAP
  • Check chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special request information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing or receiving instructions
  • Pack the material, following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulations
  • Apply all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulations
  • Accurately select and stage product with use of power equipment
  • Select and put away material using narrow aisle, wire guided machines which includes use of “operator up” machines
  • Communicate and resolve discrepancies with internal customers
  • Deliver product to onsite customers and put product into storage areas
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and record of orders
  • Communicate with Procurement regarding any discrepancies or product issues
  • Communicate with Customer Interface Departments on shipping issues and expedite priorities
  • Perform Audit counts and verify actual location with system
  • Remove and ship all defective material to vendors
  • This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Mon-Fri

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic PC skills
  • Operate SAP and WMS systems
  • RF scanner proficiency, move, crate, and audit material
  • Understand shipping regulations and can locate shipping information
  • Safely operate powered and manual material handling equipment
  • Organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Time management skills
