Associate Director, Project & Product Management

Your role: 

An exciting role has arisen to join the company as Associate Director, leading a dynamic team of Project and Product Managers to ensure delivery of complex custom solutions for our leading biopharmaceutical clients.  You will drive delivery performance including prioritization, escalation and identification of bottlenecks, as well as providing a solution to deliver on the financial commitments each month and quarter.  Establish and implement market-based improvements to current capabilities through KPI establishment and measurements.  You will lead and participate on cross-functional teams to improve business systems and processes that impact performance, customer satisfaction and service levels.  You will manage revenue and gross margins within budgeted expenses as assigned.  Participate in business development reviews and develop key customer and business relationships.  Based on current and changing customer needs, trends and drivers in key segments you will translate these needs into successful commercial programs that drive revenue growth.  In addition, you will collaborate with Site Management to enhance capacity to enable higher throughput. 

 

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Project and/or Program Management experience
  • Experience working in a GMP environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other scientific discipline
  • Direct people management experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of Organic or Biochemical synthesis/purification and associated analytical techniques, including areas of API chemical process development and scale-up
  • Proven leadership, technical, coaching and teambuilding/team motivational skills along with project management and scheduling techniques
  • Sales and quality driven, strong motivator of people to drive toward desired results within a set timeframe
