Associate Software Development Manager

 Your role: The Associate Manager – IT Development will lead a global team around eCommerce enterprise search solutions.  You will manage the day to day activities of an Agile development team using Scrum.  This includes driving both defect and enhancement (D&E) and project development.  You will partner with solution architects and project management to plan and resource projects accordingly.  You will work with Scrum masters, functional analysts, and developers to execute building scalable solutions to successfully implement requirements that meet business needs. You will also support existing software solutions in legacy systems.

 

Who you are: You have excellent leadership skills to guide and lead the development team to deliver work products on time. You have excellent problem solving and communication skills. You have the ability to work in a complex global environment and are customer centric.

 

o    Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

o    5+ years of hands on development experience

o    2+ years leading a development team, preferred

o    Experience with Agile methodology and software development using Scrum

o    Experience developing in Java preferred

o    Knowledge in Solr, ElasticSearch, Cassandra preferred

o    Knowledge in Machine Learning applied to enterprise search preferred

o    Knowledge in enterprise search related to eCommerce preferred

o    Possibility of international travel
