Associate Production Scientist-Trainer

Your Role:

The Associate Production Scientist – Trainer at our 3300 South Second Ave/ Cherokee site, will train production personnel and manufacture products according to established protocols, provide technical support to others and perform operations in support of the group and department. Job duties include:

• Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday, with a rotating schedule between day shifts (starting at 6:00 AM) and night shifts (starting at 6:00 PM) based on operational support needs. The role will support a manufacturing group operating across 24/7.
• Train manufacturing personnel on technical processes and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production through direct, on-the-line execution.
• Maintain individual training credentials while delivering high-quality, compliant training programs to manufacturing teams
• Safely manufacture products to quality standards using established protocols—including reactors, chromatography, and ultrafiltration setup—while providing technical support and hands-on training to the team
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain operational standards, while performing routine support tasks including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, restocking supplies, and waste disposal.
• Complete all required records and logbooks accurately and promptly in strict accordance with quality guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate shift status and operational concerns to leadership while collaborating across departments to execute tasks both independently and in a team environment.
• Improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience and principles, in compliance with change control.

Physical Attributes:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Wear personal protective equipment, including respirators and chemical protective clothing, for extended periods.  

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other Life Science fields
• 1+ years of industry production or laboratory experience, with a focus on biologics.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 + years of industry production or laboratory experience, with a focus on biologics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in the manufacturing and purification of biological compounds.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and production equipment.
• Proficiency in process techniques, unit operations, and safe chemical handling methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of cGMP and ICH regulatory and quality standards.

RSREMD

Pay Range for this position: $24.00 - $44.00

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
