Your Role:

 

The Associate Quality Control Scientist is responsible for the accurate and timely testing of kits, reagents, and raw materials that support immunoassay kits including Multiplex, ELISA, RIA, CellSignaling, and SMC within the Immunoassay Platform Solutions group.

 

  • Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Perform complex assays and lab operations independently, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete all logbooks according to SOPs and quality guidelines.
  • Communicate test progress, deviations, or issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Support lab operations including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in quality audits as needed.

 

Physical Attributes:

 

  • Chemical environment-Must be able to perform tasks while wearing personal protective equipment clothing for extended periods.
  • May require occasional lifting and pushing of up to 50 pounds.

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or other life science discipline or Chemical Engineering.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • 2+ years of experience within a life science manufacturing environment, with scientific knowledge of immunological based biomolecular assays.
  • Knowledge of ISO Quality standards.
  • Promote and comply with all Quality System requirements to include Trackwise and CAPA knowledge and capabilities.
  • Promote and comply with all Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
  • Experience with Immunoassays including Milliplex, ELISA, SMC and RIA.
  • A strong understanding of immunoassay principals with working knowledge of Quality Control Techniques.
  • A strong understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to review and write new reports/MMP’s/SOP’s that conform to GMP guidelines.
  • Ability to independently solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited information is available.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to independently perform statistical analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Support Operational Excellence--Lean Six Sigma familiarity/training and ability to identify and implement process improvements; Green Belt/Blu Belt training/certification.
