Your Role:
MilliporeSigma is looking for a Project Manager for their St. Louis, MO, CDMO (Contract Development Manufacturing Organization) site. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and with quality. This will involve coordinating resources, managing team dynamics, and overseeing project activities.
In this role, you will lead complex projects, such as expansions, new products, and operational excellence initiatives, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and a desire to deliver results in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment. You will monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards while presenting and facilitating productive meetings tailored to the audience's needs. Leveraging your strong interpersonal skills, you will communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, influencing without direct authority and identifying and resolving critical issues and risks in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Regular and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders will be essential for providing progress updates. You will motivate and inspire teams, promoting a shared vision of success while creating and maintaining project artifacts, including Project Charters, Resource Matrices, and Scorecards. Understanding how tactical plans lead to successful project outcomes will be crucial, as will mentoring and coaching project management personnel. Additionally, you will capture lessons learned from each project to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with 5+ years of Project Management experience
-OR-
- High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering field; PMP Certification
- Experience in the GMP/Biotech/Pharma/Regulated Industry
- Experience in detailed review work and following procedures and familiarity with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards
- Independent, self-starter with proven results in biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally with strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good evaluation and analytic skills for problem identification and communication to others
- Knowledge and experience in various computer skills, including Smartsheet, Windows, Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook, as well as familiarity working in a windows-based environment
