Your Role:

The role of a Commercial Operations Specialist with a focus on digital engagement is designed to support Account Managers by optimizing sales productivity and enhancing customer experience through social media. As a key member of the Process Solutions North America Commercial Operations team, you will leverage social media platforms like LinkedIn to identify and engage potential sales contacts, ensuring that sales teams can focus on their core activities while you enhance customer satisfaction and drive lead generation. Here’s a summary of the key aspects of the position:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Profiling: Conduct research and analysis on social media platforms to identify potential leads and qualified sales contacts, building a robust database for outreach for our commercial teams.
  • Develop and Execute Digital Engagement Strategies: Create and implement strategies to reach, engage and identify target customers through different digital channels to drive prospecting.
  • Content Creation for Business Development: Develop and manage engaging social media content that aligns with marketing initiatives, commercial needs and promotes MilliporeSigma’s Process Solutions products.  Leverage tools, including our own EveryoneSocial to ensure the sales team is posting content to drive customer engagement.
  • Driving Engagement: Inspire action among followers, encouraging them to interact with our brand, social media content, visit our website, and participate in promotional campaigns.
  • Lead Management: Participate in lead generation, vetting, and qualification processes.
  • Reporting: Generate customer engagement reporting
  • SalesForce Support: Assist in maintaining account, opportunity, and contact data in SalesForce.com.
  • Project Support: Engage in process improvement projects and other project-based work.
  • Travel: up to 10% of the time.

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 1+ years of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with experience working optimizing websites and content to improve search engine rankings.
  • 1+ years of Social Media Marketing with work experience developing and implementing social media strategies to build brand awareness and engage with audiences.
  • 1+ years of Digital Analytics: with experience analyzing website traffic and other digital marketing data to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • 1+ years of experience with multiple computer systems, including SalesForce.com & Microsoft Office Suite

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in digital marketing
  • Content Strategy: Experience creating and distributing effective content across various platforms.
  • Digital Advertising: Effective use of different types of digital advertising, including paid search, social media ads, and display advertising.
  • Mobile Marketing: Understanding how to market to mobile users.
  • experience with Tableau, SharePoint 
  • Email Marketing: Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns as well as Mobile Marketing: Understanding how to market to mobile users.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
  • Problem-solving skills for effective issue resolution.

 

Base pay range for this position is $58,250-$89,440/year.

 

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
