Your Role:

The role of a Commercial Operations Specialist is designed to support Account Managers by optimizing sales productivity and enhancing customer experiences. In this crucial position you will be a key member of the Process Solutions North America Commercial Operations team. You will ensure that sales teams can focus on their core activities while providing necessary support and enhancing customer satisfaction. Here’s a summary of the key aspects of the position:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Facilitation: Support marketing initiatives like Millidays and the sample cabinet program.
  • Lead Management: Participate in lead generation, vetting, and qualification processes.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent sales support through phone and email for order issues and status inquiries.
  • Supply Chain Information: Communicate product lead times and availability.
  • Order Management: Process expedites, change notifications, and sample requests.
  • Reporting: Generate open order and detailed sales reports.
  • SalesForce Support: Assist in maintaining account, opportunity, and contact data in SalesForce.com.
  • Forecast Reconciliation: Help reconcile forecast data against actual orders.
  • Project Support: Engage in process improvement projects and other project-based work.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Hybrid- working in office 2 days per week

 

Who you are: 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Over 1 year of experience with multiple computer systems, including Oracle, SAP, Lotus Notes, SalesForce.com, Tableau, MS TEAMS, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
  • Problem-solving skills for effective issue resolution.
  • Embrace the use of digital tools for operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of MilliporeSigma’s Process Solutions products.
