Account Manager, Informatics

This role sits within our digital business venture, Connected Lab, which serves research and testing laboratories within the academic and industry market segments.


Your Role:

As a technical expert of Lab Informatics, you will lead product commercialization demonstrations and technical discussions while providing support and troubleshooting to sales and applications teams. This position must help achieve sales quotas in the assigned product lines while enthusiastically expanding customer relationships using comprehensive product knowledge, technical and service expertise. Your technical proficiency will have an impact as you collaborate with sales, training, and applications teams to build technology and application competencies. In addition, you will partner with Marketing and Sales Management teams to shape go-to-market strategies and convert opportunities to revenue. This role will be in the U.S., and you will be expected to travel 50-70% of the time often on short notice. Travel may be in North and South America.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Biology, Chemistry, or similar Life Science discipline.
  • 3+ years technical sales experience in Lab informatics OR responsible for data/informatics in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience with SFDC or other CRM software.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Excellent written, oral, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit a strong business acumen for uncovering, evaluating, growing and closing sales opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management, Negotiation & Communication Skills
