Your Role:

As the Global Tech Transfer Project Manager within Life Science Global Plant Operations, you will drive and execute global technology transfers across our manufacturing network in close collaboration with the ISCO Value Chains. You will efficiently manage projects that involve complex scheduling and multi-stage implementation. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams (matrix functions), including representatives and experts from Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing (both receiving and sending sites), ensuring alignment and compliance with guidelines and standards. As the project leader, you will be fully accountable for all activities related to the transfer, from preparation and raw material supply to process implementation and commercial setup, culminating in the successful operation at the receiving site.

 

Position can be based in Darmstadt, Burlington (US) or St. Louis (US).

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree required, preferably in Life Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Project Management and Supply Chain or Operations

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Project Management techniques to ensure projects remain on-time and within budget, with strong communication skills
  • Skilled in developing milestones for tech transfers and designing effective implementation plans while addressing challenges
  • Experience communicating with Senior Management and embedding diverse subject-matter perspectives for impactful solutions
  • Ability to navigate complex intercultural business challenges using intercultural knowledge
  • High standards for structured approaches, decision accuracy, and data integrity; resilience in facing obstacles
  • Excellent digital skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel), with a data-driven approach and experience in digital analytics preferred
  • Willingness to travel if needed, including international trips
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; additional language is a plus
