Your Role

The Head of Facilities Management is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of all facilities within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Head of Facilities Management will lead a team of facilities staff and collaborate with other departments to ensure that the facilities meet the needs of the organization and its employees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement facilities management strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
    Oversee the security, waste management, maintenance, repair, and operation of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and non-production related equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and repair services.
    Lead and mentor the facilities management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage facility-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of facilities operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on facilities management performance to senior management.
  • Develop emergency preparedness and response plans for facilities.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety sciences, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, contract manufacturing skills, and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, continuous improvement, and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
