Your Role

 

As a Laboratory Associate 1, you will be required to support the department to maintain an efficient and timely flow of material through Manufacturing Process cleaning and monitoring of environmentally controlled suite for department.  In addition, you will complete cleanings as necessary per OP based on work volume; follow strict gowning requirements in the area; complete required cleaning checks as required per OP; ensure stocking levels in the suite are adequate and restock as necessary; facilitate product release from Manufacturing; manage Manufacturing waste transfer up to/including wrangler removal, waste removal from labs, chemical removal.

 

  • This position is on 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday from 12:30 pm to 11pm. 
  • Manage and distribute manufacturing inventory, including stocking, sorting, and restocking site stockrooms and labs.
  • Coordinate and order supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels across all site stockrooms.
  • Support inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and monthly reviews of chemical inventories.
  • Facilitate timely delivery of chemical supplies to technicians and scientists as needed for operations.
  • Prepare accurate and compliant records, ensuring proper labeling of chemicals and documentation of sampling and equipment usage.
  • Report safety concerns and deviations, contributing to a safe and compliant workplace environment.
  • Participate in audits and training, supporting quality systems and helping to update operating procedures as required.

Physical Attributes:

 

  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds properly
  • Operation of manual material handling equipment 
  • Handling quantities of all hazard classes of chemicals 

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in washing small and/or large-scale lab equipment
  • 1 + year of college coursework in Chemistry
  • SAP WM and QM knowledge 
  • Basic PC operation 
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry and math 
  • General knowledge of balances 
  • Operation and maintenance of balances 
  • Inventory tracking 
  • Time management 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Verbal and written communication skills 
  • Problem solving
