Your Role:

The Manufacturing Team Lead at the Broadway site job duties will include:

• Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies.
• Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team.
• Hydrate complex formulations and / or run equipment such as HTST/UV-Vis/Microfluidizer.
• Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.
• Set-up filling and packaging equipment ensuring operations are consistent with current operating procedures
• Order supplies when required, deemed a back up to the coordinator
• Assist Supervisor and Scientist on daily tasks
• Assist in weekly metric meetings
• Train operators on all processes

Physical Attributes:

• Lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell
• Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Engineering, or other science discipline
• 2 + years of work experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment

                          Or

• High School Diploma
• 4 + years of work experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years working in an ERP system such as SAP
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principals
• Proven track record of interdepartmental communication success 
• Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective troubleshooting skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
