Your Role:
The Manufacturing Team Lead at the Broadway site job duties will include:
- Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies.
- Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team.
- Hydrate complex formulations and / or run equipment such as HTST/UV-Vis/Microfluidizer.
- Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.
- Set-up filling and packaging equipment ensuring operations are consistent with current operating procedures
- Order supplies when required, deemed a back up to the coordinator
- Assist Supervisor and Scientist on daily tasks
- Assist in weekly metric meetings
- Train operators on all processes
Physical Attributes:
- Lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell
- Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Engineering, or other science discipline
- 2 + years of work experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
Or
- High School Diploma
- 4 + years of work experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years working in an ERP system such as SAP
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principals
- Proven track record of interdepartmental communication success
- Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
