Operational Excellence Manager

Your role:
We are looking for an experienced Operational Excellence Manager.  You must be able to manage, lead and drive continuous improvement activities at several sites in the Life Science AEM Cluster achieving cost, quality, service, and/or safety improvements. In particular, we are seeking an individual with strong knowledge of lean manufacturing. As essential for the candidate is a positive record of accomplishment in implementing and inspiring an organization for daily continuous improvement.  The candidate will lead transformational projects, coach other individuals running lean projects, and support the local management team in building a daily continuous improvement culture. Participate in global projects and actively seek and share best practices in the network. The candidate will report to the Head of Operational Excellence of the AEM cluster. 

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science preferred
  • Lean and Six Sigma Certified Green Belt, Certified Black Belt preferred
  • Proven leadership in application of Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Ability to influence change with indirect or limited authority
  • Ability to engage all levels of the organization, from site leadership to the shop floor in continuous improvement.
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to travel, typically 30%
