Your Role:

The Process Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes within an organization. The successful candidate will be part of a team of process engineers, ensuring collaboration across various departments, such as R&D, production, and quality assurance. Key responsibilities include managing projects, assisting team members when needed, troubleshooting process issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and utilizing data analytics for performance monitoring and improvement.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes within an organization
  • Process Development: Design and improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new processes
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from conception through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Compliance: Ensure processes comply with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train team members, promoting continuous improvement and professional development
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor process performance and implement improvements

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or Ph. D. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)
  • Lean Six Sigma training (Blue, Green or Black belt)
  • Leadership experience
  • Proficiency in process simulation software, data analysis tools, and project management software
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
