Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, as the Quality Assurance Specialist you have responsibility for the coordination and administration of site training programs.  This role will be instrumental in ensuring that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain our quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.  The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with various departments to identify training needs, track training completion, and maintain accurate training records. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department managers/supervisors to identify training needs across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in our learning management system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure training programs meet relevant regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Generate reports on training activities, completion rates and effectiveness metrics.
  • Facilitate training sessions on quality related topics, ensuring engaging and effective delivery.
  • Share best practices and identify opportunities to streamline training processes and enhance overall training experience.
  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits, as a Subject Matter Expert of applicable Quality Management System(s)

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
  • 1+ years experience in a quality role

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in quality management systems
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with various departments to deliver on training commitments
  • Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage time and deliver results on time
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality systems software
  • Understanding or experience with ISO & FDA quality regulations
