Your Role:

The Quality Excellence Lead is responsible for driving quality excellence and transformational initiatives aligned with goals across the St. Louis quality control and quality assurance organization. This role involves supporting digitalization efforts for quality processes, fostering continuous improvement practices, managing strategic quality projects, and facilitating change management initiatives to ensure effective implementation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Life Science Community of Excellence (CoE) to align quality best practices, share insights, and drive organizational transformation.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve quality outcomes.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive digital technology adoption in quality processes to enhance overall quality performance organization-wide.
  • Foster a proactive quality culture, encouraging staff to anticipate and prevent deviations.
  • Ensure quality improvement initiatives align with customer expectations and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Work closely with other departments to implement integrated quality improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee execution of strategic quality projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and implement innovative quality improvement practices and benchmark against industry best practices.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:                                                                                            

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of successful experience in a quality leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience of key quality control and/or quality assurance responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams
  • Understanding or experience with ISO & FDA regulations.
