Your Role:

In this role you are responsible for the design and development of host cell lines and expression vectors for the biopharmaceutical industry. This role will focus heavily on bioinformatics and systems biology approaches to analyze and interpret complex datasets related to host cell line and vector development, alongside essential cell culture and molecular biology skills. The split between wet lab work and bioinformatics work is anticipated to be 60% wet lab and 40% bioinformatics. This position is based in St. Louis at 2909 Laclede Avenue.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry or other Life Science discipline with 1+ years of cell culture (wet lab) experience

OR

• Master’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or other Life Science discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in sequence analysis, data mining, statistical modeling, pathway analysis, and automating workflows
• Experience in mammalian cell/tissue culture, molecular cloning, DNA purification, RNA isolation, and PCR methods
• Experience with mammalian cell line development and large-scale production, including operating bioreactors
• Experience with robotics and high-throughput cell culture methods
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to identify problems and work independently or collaboratively

Pay Range for this position - $76,100 - $129,700/Year

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
