Your Role:
As a member of the Hematology and Histology Quality Control team you will support the Diagnostics and Regulated materials branch of our Life Science business unit at the Cherokee site. You will perform analytical testing on produced and packaged goods to ensure that they meet our high-quality standards. This is primarily a lab-based role, but you will also support quality investigations and process improvement initiatives alongside the production operations team. Independently performing routine testing procedures according to established procedures.
Physical Attributes:
- Climb 2-3 flights of stairs independently
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science Discipline
- 2+ years of experience working in regulated lab environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical lab certification such as ASCP
- Experience reading and evaluating tissue samples
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to independently set daily priorities to meet department goals
- Technical knowledge of Histology and Hematology based testing methods
- Experience working in regulated lab and production environment
