Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Owner will integrate and optimize B2C and B2B processes with our company technology. Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Partner with the digital and eCommerce teams to design optimized business processes and document the functional and non-functional requirements of the application to be developed to support that process.
- Deeply investigate the “as is” state to fully understand the end-to-end B2C and B2B process and account for all upstream and downstream dependencies when designing the “to be” process.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders from multiple disciplines to understand how the change will impact their work area and assist to develop change management artifacts.
- Prioritize efforts based on understanding of their financial, legal and reputation impact.
- Share knowledge with the team, lead by example, and mentor less experienced team members to improve their skills.
- Manage the following:
- Defects & Enhancements: Overall system maintenance of weekly releases and monthly ERP releases, coordinating with IT, to solve customer issues while using the eCommerce website.
- Digital Product: The digital product feature integrates materials and service plans such as software licenses that can be place in a “check out cart” and purchased in the same manner as material. Both trial and fully licensed versions are available for customers to purchase on the site.
- CPP LIMS: LIMS is an external application installed on the premise of a company warehouse to receive orders for the manufacturing of products, as per the specifications provided by the customer. Our The eCommerce site integrates the LIMS system for production of configurable products.
- OMS: Order Management System, or “OMS,” is a new tool that will allow customers to place, track, and view orders of their choice. OMS will be a more intelligent and autonomous process with less manual intervention. It is able to do so by functioning more independently of the connected system SAP.
Requirements & Qualifications:
The employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, and at least five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst /Functional Analyst working on eCommerce or related projects in the life sciences. Alternatively, the employer is willing to accept three (3) years of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field in lieu of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field and at least five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst /Functional Analyst working on eCommerce or related projects in the life sciences.
In addition, the employer requires the following:
- Understanding of B2C and B2B processes in a global distributed environment gained through two (2) years of experience;
- Proficiency with SAP SD, MM modules, HANA, and PI gained through three (3) years of experience; and
- Ability to conduct UAT and Technical Sign offs gained through three (3) years of experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
