Your Role:
The Head of Operations for Ewing will report into the Head of St. Louis Operations. The role is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Up-Stream and Down- Stream Operations team with the objective of developing and meeting the financial, productivity, and growth objectives consistent with corporate and divisional goals related to production and packaging activities. Including focus on the development and attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational expenditure (OpEx) improvements, safety measures, and site strategies as required. If necessary, similar responsibilities may extend to other relevant facilities.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific / technical discipline – Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Related Life Science or Engineering.
- 7 + years related experience in manufacturing technologies; FDA production experience is strongly preferred.
- 7 + years of management and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a manufacturing organization of similar size and scope to meet safety, health and environmental standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with OSHA, GMP and EPA regulations; must have solid knowledge of the ISO 9001 and 13485 Quality Systems and ISO 14001 and 45001 Environment and Safety systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA) strongly preferred
- Proven strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high performing team
- Demonstrated ability to drive “followership”
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
- Experience in Product life cycle management and communicating strategies with business partners
- Experience incorporating automated solutions in drive operational strategies around cost reduction, reduction in lead time, and control of process variability
- Experience developing organizational vision and supporting goals and objectives
- Track record of driving successful change initiatives that have resulted in favorable business outcome
- Experience working with customers and internal/external stakeholders from different geographies
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
