Your Role: 

 

The Upstream Manufacturing Lab Technician performs laboratory activities in the formulation lab including buffer and antibody manufacturing. The technician follows the manufacturing schedule to complete required tasks and is responsible for following standard operating procedures involving basic laboratory techniques, calculations, material measurements operation of laboratory equipment and record keeping as necessary. This position is based in 3050 Spruce Street, St. Louis, MO.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Manufactures, and packages products following SOPs
  • Use local ERP systems to accurately document manufacturing processes
  • Maintains records and keeps spreadsheets updated
  • Escalates any non-conforming products to management, participate in the investigation process
  • Assist in training other staff members as requested
  • Cleaning of labware as well as general lab cleaning, maintains lab cleanliness and complies with cGMP compliance
  • Provide equipment maintenance as necessary
  • Meets productivity standards and strives to increase productivity without sacrificing quality and safety
  • Follow regulatory and standard requirements as applicable to the site, i.e., MDSAP, ISO 13485, IVDR, and compliance with the site Quality Manual

 

Physical Attributes:

 

  • Utilize close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus 
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds per day
  • Push, Pull up to 25 pounds unassisted  
  • Kneel, stoop, sit, stand, hear, talk, climb on ladder or step ladder
  • Use fingers to push keys (keyboard) or pipetting in the laboratory, use of hands
  • Working in production/manufacturing environment
  • view, interpret and process information via a computer monitor for extended periods of time during normal working hours
  • The ability to work with moderate background noise

 

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of lab or production experience 

 

OR

 

  • Associates Degree in a biological science or biochemistry discipline

with 1 + years of lab or production experience 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of FDA QSRs and ISO 13485 or other related industry standards
  • Experience with SAP, SAP NEXT or other ERP system
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including the and accurately complete batch records

 

  Pay Range for this position - $19.00 - $29.00/Hour

 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
