You Role:

 

This position fills the need to pull components for packaging operations and ship finished goods to other locations activities to help efficiently package and ship a quality product within a safe working environment.

 

  • Perform regular cycle counts and document findings on inventory control sheets, noting location changes or piece discrepancies to ensure total system accuracy.
  • Pull components from various temperature-controlled zones (ambient, cooler, freezer) using forklifts or pallet jacks, preparing them for movement via palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling.
  • Confirm product/batch numbers, sizes, and counts against requirements; verify materials against packing slips and ensure hazard classes are segregated for safety.
  • Utilize SAP functions for inventory management and accurately record Bill of Materials (BOM) information within packaging and shipping documents.
  • Stage kit/fill components on the packaging floor, manage component returns, and pack materials on wet or dry ice as required for shipment.
  • Collaborate with the label room, warehouse, and packaging supervisors to troubleshoot shortages and ensure the timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Handle chemicals safely while maintaining organized staging areas and replacing damaged boxes, wrapping, or overpack to prevent material misdirection.

 

 Physical Attributes:   

 

  • Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted & move more than 50 pounds with assistance.
  • The work area may occasionally be wet, humid, abnormally hot or cold.
  • Sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch for the entire shift.
  • Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and adjust focus.

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Knowledge of safety rules, ISO and GMP quality standards.
  • SAP experience.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to do basic math-including metrics and conversions.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train others and work in a team setting.

 

 

  • Pay Range for this position: $16- $25/h.
  • The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
