Your Role:
As a GMP Shipping Coordinator at our Cherokee site, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and compliant shipment of products within our supply chain. Specific responsibilities include:
- Oversee the preparation, scheduling, and documentation of shipments, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and customers to coordinate shipping logistics.
- Ensure all shipping processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the commitment to quality and safety through effective shipping operations.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Physical Attributes:
- Wear PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves
- Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted & move more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, climb, twist, or crouch
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in international and domestic shipping
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory compliance
- Detail-oriented and excel in managing documentation and compliance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in inventory management systems SAP ERP
- Dangerous Goods Shipping Certification
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment and can work independently
- The ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
- The ability to contribute to a culture of safety and compliance in the workplace
