Job Description of Service Delivery Manager



Operating within the APAC Marketing & Sales (M&S) Application Technology team of the Company's IT the Service Delivery Manager will be responsible to manage and deliver projects and application portfolio in Sales & Marketing, commercial, sales distribution business operation across all divisions in an innovative, robust and stable way.

This role is expected to build a collaborative partnership with business key users, provide an effective / stable / sound IT landscape to business in M&S domain.

He/She will be the APAC M&S App Tech IT representative in Taiwan responsible to manage the existing Application portfolio, M&S commercial projects & digitalization opportunities by identifying and executing on consolidation and rationalization global solutions to the regional/local market.

He/she should have senior project management skills, application design experience, M&S business process knowledge and experience to be seen as credible by all layers of the organization and expected to work beyond below accountabilities.


Required Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of digital solutions, mobile apps and recent IT technologies
  • Business analysis on business/technical knowledge, problem diagnosis and business insight
  • Demonstrated knowledge of M&S process in sales distribution and commercial operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT Systems Life Cycle best practices
  • Strong communication and team dynamic skills
  • Ability to drive results effectively, collaboratively and independently
  • Demonstrated ability managing risks and finding creative solutions to difficult problems
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English & Chinese.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT Systems Life Cycle best practices
  • Ability to support internal/external audit relevant application system


Education Minimum Requirement:

  • B.S. degree is required. Engineering, Information Management/Computer Science or related area is preferred.

Desired Experience, Certifications:

  • Excellent ITIL and Project Management knowledge and experience
  • Biopharma/Lifescience Commercial Industry Experience is a plus.
  • 5+ experience on program using the PHP, Java, Python, SQL Server, unstructured DB, Cloud application and other big data related technology
  • 3+ years’ experience in corporate data warehouse & ETL, data pipeline and data analytics.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Program/Project Management working in globalized environment, especially on commercial and market channel
  • Experience developing/managing projects and solid business knowledge within pharmaceutical/life science industry, project experience on digital system and surroundings.
  • Advanced degree(s) or certifications in Project or Services Portfolio Management (i.e. PMP or ITIL) are not a must but a plus
  • Experience on CMM or ISO 9001, 20000, 27001 is a plus


Location and Travel:

Base location is Taipei, Taiwan. Travel is expected but not significant for this position. Estimated travel is less than 10%.
